Watford Lodge Lilies

After gathering the large number of lilies the previous week and the subsequent planting at Strines, Disley and Bowden there was enough left to try introducing plants at Watford Lodge.
Because most of the shallower areas of Watford comprise of stone bedding, hessian sacks were filled with a mix of clay, soil and compost to try and give the plants every chance of establishing themselves. In the past growing plants at Watford has never been easy so fingers crossed we will see some positive results.

Sixteen sacks were planted and distributed with the majority of these located on the road side.
